ABOUT ME

SWANS Connecting the Dots, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization  based in Jonesboro, Georgia, dedicated to empowering girls 3rd to 12th grade across Clayton County and surrounding areas. Through our signature mentorship and leadership programs, we inspire young girls to dream big, build confidence, and develop the life skills they need to thrive. From monthly workshops and hands-on experiences to peer mentorship and community events, our programs, The Perfect Me!, Mentee to Mentor, and Empowerment Leadership Workshops, provide a safe, supportive space for girls to grow, lead, and shine.

What We Offer

Our mentoring program is designed to empower individuals through meaningful connections, skill development, and a strong sense of community. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take the next step in your journey, we provide the tools, support, and opportunities to help you grow. From strategic mentoring sessions and business readiness to mindset mastery and personal development

Participants in our program gain access to:

* Let’s Talk! Topic Sessions – Twice a month for the Wednesday elementary mentees and once a month for the Saturday middle/high school mentees, we host interactive group sessions where we dive into important and exciting topics; like goal setting, managing stress, exploring careers, and more. It’s a safe, welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and be heard. We also believe in the strength of community. Through outreach initiatives, networking events, and volunteer community service opportunities, we create spaces for meaningful connection and collaboration.

* One-on-one Mentoring -  Each mentee is thoughtfully paired with an experienced mentor who offers personalized guidance, support, and encouragement, helping them grow and thrive based on their individual goals and aspirations.

* Workshops & Events - We host dynamic workshops and training sessions focused on developing essential personal and professional skills such as communication, leadership, and career advancement. We also take pride in recognizing the accomplishments of our mentees. Signature events like our annual PaintTea Me Gala honor their dedication and celebrate their growth.
